Specialist in protection and security in Karitas-Spes Ukrayina

Requirements: Work experience from 1 year (psychologist, assistant manager), ?preferably in NGOs. 

Must understand:

• Basics of protection
• Understanding the basics of gender-based violence
• Risk analysis
• Developing protocols ( SOPs)
• Perhaps - training (or assistance in conducting)
• Experience of cooperation with different people
• Explain simply and accessible
• Insist on international standards in difficult situations
• Ready to learn

• Firmness when working with standards
• Ready to teach, explain, convince

Purpose of the position:?

• Contribute to the implementation of protection standards;
• Providing support to project teams in the implementation of protection principles (what is called protection mainstreaming);
• Conduct security training

Responsibilities: ?

• Meetings with all project teams, getting to know the projects;
• Conducting protection risk assessments for projects;
• In cooperation with project teams, developing the necessary protocols and security measures;
• Implementation and support in the implementation of security measures and protocols;
• Conducting security training;
• Acceptance and registration and classification of sensitive feedback communication;
• Organization of the process of handling complaints;
• Mapping of services in project locations;
• Coordination of the referral process for protection and security cases speak English.
