Main responsibilities:
Monitoring the implementation of WASH-activities:
- Keeping a systematic record of the implementation of WASH-activities (physical progress, implementation status, key milestones, deviations).
- Ensuring the relevance of internal tracking tools (plans, tables, dashboards) and timely updating of information based on data from local teams.
Preparation of reporting materials:
- Collection, structuring and initial verification of data reporting from local organizations and specialized specialists (technical, software, MEAL).
- Preparation of contributions to regular project and donor reporting under the WASH component in coordination with Project Managers and Sector Lead Expert WASH.
- Tracking deadlines, completeness and quality of submitted data, initiating clarification or finalization of information in case of needs.
Interaction with MEAL direction:
- Work in close coordination with the MEAL team on indicators, data sources, collection methodology, PDM and tools monitoring.
- Supporting data consolidation to assess the results of WASH interventions and ensuring consistency between MEAL data and project reporting.
Data analysis and compliance with donor requirements:
- Control of logical consistency between activities, indicators, beneficiaries and reporting figures.
- Ensuring compliance with DoS requirements regarding the structure, logic, periodicity and submission of reporting information.
Analytical support:
- Preparation of summaries, references and short analytical notes on WASH implementation progress, risks and deviations for internal management use.
- Informing Project Managers and Sector Lead Expert WASH about potential risks, inconsistencies or accumulation of problems in implementation and reporting.
Requirements:
- Higher education in the field of social sciences or related areas.
- higher education, or courses in project management, humanitarian aid or WASH (will be an advantage).
- Experience in project activities of 2 years or more (humanitarian, development or infrastructure projects).
- Experience in coordinating with several teams or partners (local organizations, contractors, experts).
- Practical experience in keeping documentation, tracking activities, training workers reports.
- Knowledge of languages: Ukrainian - fluent, English - B2 level (oral and written; for work with donors, reporting and internal coordination).
- Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), tools for online meetings.
Necessary knowledge and skills:
Knowledge:
- Principles of project cycle management.
- Logic of implementation of WASH activities.
- Internal coordination between programmatic, technical, financial and MEAL functions.
- Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) principles.
- Sphere, CHS humanitarian standards.
Skills:
- Planning and tracking project activities.
- Working with tables, trackers, plans and registers.
- Preparation of working analytical materials and reporting contributions.
- Business communication with local teams and technical specialists.
- Working with large volumes of information and meeting deadlines.
Personal qualities:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Responsibility, attention to detail, systems thinking.
- Ability to work in a team and support the work processes of others.
