During the war, we consolidated resources in the direction of humanitarian and psychosocial assistance to people living in the territories affected by hostilities, we improve the conditions of temporary stay of evacuated residents in transit and receiving regions.
GOGreenland in partnership with Norwegian National Aid (NPAid) invites a project mobilizer to successfully complete the tasks of the project "Integrated approach to crisis response", aimed at raising public awareness regarding security during crisis situations. Our goal is to provide people with knowledge and skills for self-defense in extreme situations, in particular in the conditions of war.
Main duties:
- Establishing and maintaining constant communication with representatives of local communities, authorities self-government, educational institutions, social services and partner organizations;
- Involvement of the population to participate in information sessions and lectures on mine risk awareness (MINRM) and preparation of the population to respond to emergency situations (CPP);
- Organization and support of project events (coordinating locations, forming lists of participants, informing communities);
- Providing logistical support during events;
- Promoting the dissemination of informational materials about project activities and increasing public awareness of safety issues and emergency response.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Experience of working in the public, humanitarian or social sector, in particular in projects aimed at working with communities, informing the population or raising awareness;
Practical experience of interaction with community representatives, local leaders, local self-government bodies, educational institutions or other local stakeholders;
- Ability to work independently, to plan your time responsibly and effectively;
- Fluency in the Ukrainian language (oral and written);
- Readiness to visit communities within the region.
