PROJECT MANAGER FOR FIGHTING MISINFORMATION IN CYBERSPORTS in Internyuz-Ukrayina, GO

The Internews-Ukraine NGO team is looking for a manager for the unique project "Establishing Ukrainian eSports Counter Disinformation Teams and Tournament". We unite government institutions, public organizations and businesses to effectively counter foreign propaganda.

WHAT SHOULD BE DONE:

• work on strategy developing the potential of Ukrainian e-sportsmen in countering Russian propaganda and disinformation in game spaces;
• prepare and hold events (workshops, coaching sessions, trainings on conflict resolution and counter-disinformation, e-sports tournaments, thematic events, etc.);

• prepare reports for donors;
• coordinate the work of experts and other team members;
• participate in negotiations with stakeholders, negotiate and defend the team's position.

WE EXPECT YOU:

• have a complete higher education (preferably in the field of humanities and/or social sciences);
• have experience in managing multi-component projects and/or information campaigns in the field of disinformation;
• fluent in Ukrainian and English at the Upper-intermediate level and above;
• excellent in office programs and digital tools (Google Docs, Ms Excel, task managers, Zoom, etc.); li>
• meet deadlines and perform your work conscientiously;
• strive for efficiency in any tasks, have high motivation and are ready for dynamic work;
• respond constructively to challenges and offer ways to solve them.

Experience in working with a similar topic and cooperation with the public sector will be an advantage.
