?Role Mission
To be a driving force in the creation and development of a national association that unites patients, medical experts and public organizations to fight cancer, improve the quality of life of cancer patients and promote modern scientific approaches and advocacy initiatives in Ukraine.
Main duties:
- Research of national and international associations in the field of oncology, study of their strategies, programs and innovative solutions; adoption of experience and best practices.
- Participation in the formation of ideas and proposals for the creation and development of the union, new initiatives and projects focused on patients, the medical community and society.
- Coordination of the process of creating the union: organization of meetings of founders, keeping documentation, preparing presentations and reports.
- Building and maintaining communications with stakeholders: patient groups, medical institutions, foundations, business, government structures and international partners.
- Search and attraction of resources, preparation of proposals for grants, partnerships and fundraising activities.
- Initiative and participation in advocacy events, formation of policies and strategies aimed at improving the oncology care system and protecting patients' rights.
Requirements for candidates:
- Deep interest in the field of oncology and patient support; understanding the challenges of the health care system and advocacy work.
- Initiative, creativity, willingness to propose new ideas and solutions.
- Experience in public organizations, charitable foundations or project management (preferably in health care, oncology or advocacy).
- Ability to build partnerships at the national and international level.
- Analytical skills, experience preparation of research, presentations and strategic documents.
- Vysocommunication and organizational skills, responsibility, ability to work autonomously.
- Fluency in English for working with international partners, literature and grant applications.
Desired competencies:
- Experience in launching or developing public associations or associations in the field of health care.
- Knowledge of modern practices in the field of oncology, research and patient support.
- Skills in conducting communication campaigns, educational projects and advocacy initiatives.
