Project manager in Malteser Relief Service

"Maltese Aid Service" is a charitable organization that has been with Ukrainians for 33 years and helps overcome life's difficulties. We teach how to save lives at our first aid trainings, provide psychological assistance to people affected by the war, and deliver humanitarian aid to the frontline regions of Ukraine to support local residents. For 27 years in a row, we have been conducting the kindest action "Saint Nicholas - for children in need" and we are concerned about lonely old women. "Keeping the faith and helping those in need" is the constant slogan of the Order of Malta, whose immediate organizational entity and successor of the spiritual heritage is the Malta Relief Service.

Job Title: Junior Project Manager (tim led in part of the mobile team)

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education (management or social sphere will be an advantage)
• Experience in project management from 2 years
• Experience in team management
• Organizational skills, ability to set priorities
• Ability to work with the MS Office package
• Excellent skills oral and written communication
• Responsibility, communication skills, leadership skills
• Desire to improve your knowledge and skills
• Desirable experience of working with inclusive groups
• An understanding of humanitarian programs in Ukraine is desirable
• Experience working with children and youth is desirable
• Proficient command of English, at least intermediate (B1)

The main ones responsibilities and tasks:

• Planning and coordinating the work of the mobile team
• Preparing plans and schedules of trips and events
• Assisting the project manager in the planning and implementation of the project
• Monitoring and evaluation of the results and effectiveness of implemented measures, preparation of reports on the work of the team
• Ensuring the implementation of project indicators
• Quality control of the implementation of project tasks
• Identification of risks and problems and a plan to deal with them
• Coordination of work with local authorities, partners, educational institutions and other interested parties
• Control of data collection, photos and any other information on project activities, compliance with the rules of storage and distribution of project documentation
• Assisting the project manager in project procurement
• Supporting the team in conducting integration activities for children and adults
• Team support in the development of programs, methodological materials
• Assistance of the PR department in the preparation of advertising campaigns
• Assistance in the development of project proposals, at the request of the manager
• Assistance to a social worker in conducting an assessment in the field of protection with adults and children up to 18 years of age who needsupport and further support
• Adherence to standards in the field of child protection during the implementation of the project
• Constant improvement of qualifications and knowledge in the field of project management
• Performance of other tasks at the request of the project manager
