GENERAL INFORMATION

BF "Right to Defense" (Fund) is a charitable foundation operating in partnership with HIAS, a global organization on providing assistance to refugees. The Foundation focuses on providing assistance to internally displaced persons, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, high-risk stateless persons and undocumented persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and implements programs for the provision of direct legal assistance throughout Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.

< span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">The project, within which the vacancy is open, offers to cover the most critical needs for heating in winter within the framework of supporting the plan of preparation for winter in Ukraine for 2024 -2025, as an urgent need to mitigate the consequences of harsh winter weather conditions. R2P will work on providing heating measures in the winter period to the most vulnerable sections of the population - especially women, the elderly, children and persons with disabilities living in households in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions (for host communities, returnees, IDPs, evacuees), and also for people living in collective centers in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions.< br/>

BF "Right to Defense" is looking for a candidate for the position Project CoordinatorDUTIES AND TASKS

  • The project coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting on the project and will represent the fund at coordination meetings and in communication with the donor.
  • The project coordinator ensures the implementation of the project in accordance with the policies, procedures and processes of the fund.
  • The coordinator will work in close cooperation with the head of the project department, coordinators of directions, financial manager and other employees of the Fund to ensure the successful implementation of the project.

< span style="font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">TASKS WITHIN THE PROJECT

  • Dowith project documentation and materials (drafting, editing, translation, writing reports, etc.);

  • Planning of project activities according to the project work plan and budget;

  • Coordination of all project activities, for timely and effective achievement of project goals;

  • Control over the execution of project activities within the terms indicated by the plan and the overall goal of the project;

  • Formation of the project team together with the program areas and coordination of activities;

  • Establishing constructive cooperation with representatives of the project's target communities;

  • Administrative and organizational support of the project;

  • Participation in the organization of meetings and events within the framework of the project;

  • Preparation of timely reports for the Fund and donors in the agreed terms;

  • Communication with project partners and donors, both in the format of correspondence and meetings.

  • Understanding and following the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation.

Professional requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience in international donor projects related to humanitarian aid and charity;

  • high self-motivation, independence,promptness and the ability to meet deadlines are a must;

  • < span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">experience in organizing purchases and preparing financial documents;

  • ;

  • excellent analytical skills, attention to detail;

  • ability to collect information in accordance with the goals and objectives of the project;

  • skill of preparing and writing reports;

  • excellent communication skills;

  • strategic thinking and problem solving skills;

  • Experience of cooperation with local self-government bodies, active population groups in the community will be an advantage.

  • Experience with programs providing non-monetary material assistance will be an advantage.
