General Provisions
Under operational and technical management Supported by the SEED Project Manager and SEED Project Officers, the Project Assistant is responsible for facilitating the proper implementation of the GAC-funded SEED project entitled "Ensuring Economic expanding women's rights for recovery and development" in the Chernihiv region.

The purpose of SEED is to support the economic development of women and marginalized population groups, as well as to increase their competitiveness in finding a job or in starting and developing their own business. Through a wide range of activities, the project focuses on providing livelihood grants, scholarships, promoting future-oriented careers and supporting employment centers and day care centres.

The SEED Project Assistant will play a key role in supporting the implementation and monitoring activities in the Chernihiv region. The position is based in Kyiv or Chernihiv.

FUNCTIONS

Supporting the effective implementation of the project

1.1. Participate in the identification, evaluation and verification processes for the selection of beneficiaries for activities within the project, including the distribution of grants, scholarships and the organization of training.
1.2. Participate in information campaign activities among schools.
1.3. Carry out other assignments from the line manager.

Internal and external communications

2.1. Collaborate with internal Acted departments such as finance, logistics or compliance as required.
2.2. Participate in information sessions, meetings and other relevant events with target communities, audiences, partners and local authorities.
2.3. Represent the organization at relevant meetings and events.

Monitoring and evaluation

3.1. Participate in monitoring visits to partners (together with the SEED partnership officer) and beneficiaries.

Documentation and reporting

4.1. Maintain accurate records of project activities and beneficiary data.
4.2. Ensure proper documentation of all processes and activities in which he participates.
4.3. Provide weekly updates to the line manager on project activities.
4.4. Notify line manager of any delays or issues related to project activities.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)

  • Number of provided grants.
  • Number of livelihood applications assessed, grants awarded and accompanying activities.
  • Effective contribution tothe process of reviewing applications for the establishment of business accelerators and day centers.
  • Project documentation is signed by all parties and properly stored.

TECHNICAL SKILLS< /p>

  • Experience in the implementation of projects in the humanitarian sector will be an advantage.
  • Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
  • Basic English language skills will be advantage.
  • Data management skills.
  • Analytical abilities.
  • High level of flexibility and motivation.
