The purpose of the position is to provide support to the Project Coordinator in coordinating all LRC projects in Ukraine, which are carried out by the organization. The role would require assisting in planning, monitoring progress, reporting, and liaising with key contacts to ensure successful implementation of the projects

Essential Tasks:

•           Assist in client relations, maintaining schedule, and overall project status under the supervision of the project coordinator.

•           Liaise with beneficiaries and contractors to gather and verify information, in accordance with defined criteria. 

•           Collaborate with the project coordinator to implement the Project Cycle Management for each project. 

•           Update and maintain project documents for LRC activities such as FTRs, Project proposal (PP), plan of action (PoA) and Memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the TS system.

•           Assist the project coordinator in ensuring compliance to corporate policy guidelines by all parties and stakeholders. 

•           Provide weekly updates on project progress to the project coordinator and other stakeholders. 

•           Translate documents from English to Ukrainian and vice versa.

•           Assist the project coordinator in representing the organization at Shelter Cluster, and other relevant meetings. 

•           Facilitate good cooperation and information sharing with URCS. 

•           Provide support to the project coordinator and Country Representative in meetings, planning, and implementation of the project. 

•           Maintain professional relationships with URCS Kyiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Donetsk regional branches in terms of information and document sharing.

Other responsibilities:

•           Actively work towards the achievement of the LRC’s goals

•           Abide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross and Red Crescent principles

•          Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager

Requirements

Knowledge skills and abilities

            The following knowledge may be acquired by formal education, self-education, and prior experience, on the job training, or special training provided by the organization.

•           Preference will be given to personnel with a degree in a relevant field.

•           The successful candidate shall have experience in coordinating general construction and accompanying sectors. 

•           Fluent in English (reading and writing)

•           A good operational knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office suite, scheduling software

•           Should possess the ability to cooperate, share, be a team player, willing to work under pressure.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist with client relations, maintain schedule and overall project status under the supervision of the Project Coordinator.
• liaise with beneficiaries and contractors to gather and verify information against defined criteria. 
• Collaborate with the project coordinator to implement project cycle management for each project. 
• Update and maintain project documentation for CDM activities such as PFP, Project Proposal (PP), Action Plan (AP) and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the TA system.
• Assist the project coordinator in ensuring compliance with the principles of corporate policy by all parties and interested parties. 
• Provide weekly project progress reports to the project coordinator and other stakeholders. 
• Translate documents from English to Ukrainian and vice versa.
• Help the project coordinator to represent the organization at the Housing Cluster and other relevant meetings. 
• Contribute to the establishment of effective cooperation and exchange of information with the TCHU. 
• Provide support to the project coordinator and country representative in conducting meetings, planning and implementing the project. 
• Maintain professional relations with the Kyiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Donetsk regional branches of the TCHU regarding the exchange of information and documents.

Requirements

The following knowledge can be obtained through formal education, self-education and prior experience, on-the-job training or specialized training provided by the organization.
