Kharkiv Regional youth organization "EDUCATED INITIATIVE" ="_blank">Youth NGO helping Ukrainian families survive the war, founded in 2008, implements educational projects for youth, vulnerable social groups and provides humanitarian aid to Ukrainians on the front lines. In 2023, we became an accredited UN partner of the HFU UGKS. b style="font-weight: 700">We are looking for a qualified manager with strong organizational skills and knowledge in the field of GHG to coordinate a project aimed at raising awareness of GHG. Additional certification in addressing gender-based violence would be an advantage.

This position involves working closely with local communities, government organizations and partners to ensure the safety of the population, therefore the ability to establish contacts and maintain communication at all levels is important.

The vacancy is relevant for the cities of Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Kherson.

Duties:

• Coordination and implementation of projects aimed at raising awareness of GHG among various population groups and helping victims of GHG.
• Organization and conducting of trainings and educational sessions for employees of state institutions, public organizations and other interested parties.
• Ensuring effective communication with partners and beneficiaries, as well as coordination of work with local communities.
• Preparation and implementation of information campaigns on the prevention of GBV.
• Development of a referral route for people affected by GHG, including psychological, medical and legal support.
• Participation in the search and selection of personnel for the implementation of all areas of the project.
• Close cooperation with other departments. Involvement of specialists from other areas to provide psychological and legal assistance to beneficiaries within the scope of the project.
• Creation and maintenance of project documentation, preparation of reports and monitoring of project tasks.
• Compliance with policies, rules and regulations of the HOMGO "Educated initiative" and internationaltheir donors.

Requirements:

• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
• Higher education in the field of social sciences, psychology, law, medicine or another related field .
• Work experience in the field of countering gender-based violence, social sphere or human rights protection, as well as additional certifications in the field will be an advantage.
• High level of organizational and communication skills, particularly in management projects.
• Ability to work with vulnerable population groups and provide psychological support.
• Experience in preparing trainings, seminars and information campaigns.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate work several directions at the same time.
• Skills in writing reports, planning and maintaining project documentation.
• Proactive approach, attention to details, ability to make decisions in stressful situations.
