PostgreSQL Developer in Fondy

Necessary skills

— solid knowledge of the basics of relational databases: normalization levels, isolation, index types, maintaining data integrity
— experience working with the PostgreSQL DBMS from 5 years;
— DBMS optimization skills, SQL query performance, experience in using and analyzing query plans, internal statistics, monitoring tools;

— experience in developing procedures, triggers, external scripts using any development language, except SQL

— configuration of replication processes: master-slave, logical, streaming

— experience in working with OLTP, as well as with DWH

— development of strategies for backup, reservation, upgrade of PostgreSQL versions
— English at the level of working with technical documentation and correspondence.

Will a plus
— experience working with banking or financial systems

Responsibilities
— development, optimization of SQL queries, development of scripts/procedures/triggers in the PostgreSQL database;
— analysis of the business requirements of the company's financial department, and development of the corresponding SQL queries;
— design and development of the structure of new database objects (tables, views, etc. what);

— deployment, configuration of DWH, development etl processes of DWH filling
