We are a Ukrainian product team, LMS/CRM for training centers and online schoolsMata Platform. In connection with the expansion of functionality, we are looking for a programmer in a team of several developers to create new modules under the guidance of experienced colleagues. We work for leading offline and online schools in Ukraine. Join us!

We need a PHP Yii2 backend developer to mentor and support in professional development.

About the project:

• Techstack: PHP 8.x, Yii2, MySQL, Docker, Git.
• Format: remote, full-time, flexible schedule.
• Level: junior+/middle, there is mentoring

Selection stages:

1. Introduction interview with the recruiter

2. Technical interview with ice (optionally live coding)

   to the database;
3. Analysis and implementation of technological improvements;
4. Understanding the developed technical tasks;
5. Combining modules with existing functionality.

More details - expectations from the candidate:

• 2+ years of experience in development;
• Knowledge of PHP 8.x;
• Understanding OOP principles;
• Practical skills in working with MySQL, query optimization;
• Understanding MVC pattern
• Experience with Yii2 framework (ActiveRecord/QueryBuilder, migrations, RBAC, modules);
• Understand web technologies and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, jQuery;
• Start-up knowledge of Docker.

Will be a plus:

• Git experience, GitFlow (PR, conflicts, basic commands);
• Understanding design patterns and the ability to apply them in practice;
• Understanding modular development;
• Understanding Bootstrap
