osint analyst in Marcus Production

"Marcus production" is an analytical group specializing in the collection, verification and analysis of open data (OSINT) in the fields of security, geopolitics, economics and public investigations.
We are looking for an attentive, technically trained and motivated OSINT analyst to join our team.

Main tasks:

• Collection, verification and analysis of information from open sources (media, social networks, databases, state registers, satellite images, etc.);
• Geolocation of photo and video materials, verification of the authenticity of events and facts;
• Preparation of analytical reports, digests or briefs based on the results of investigations;
• Interaction with other analysts in the team, coordination with in the areas of OSINT / SOCINT / GEOINT;
• Use of specialized tools (Maltego, SpiderFoot, Social Links, Google Dorks, Shodan, Telegram-bots for OSINT, etc.).

Requirements:

• Experience in OSINT, investigative journalism, cyber security or data analytics;
• Understanding the principles of information security and verification sources;
• Knowledge of English at the Intermediate+ level (for searching information);
• Ability to logically structure research results;
• Experience with Python, Excel, or analytical tools (Power BI, QGIS) is welcome.
