Operations manager (reconciliation with banks and processing of chargebacks), RozetkaPay in EVO

RozetkaPay is part of the EVO-Rozetka group of companies. The payment service was created on the basis of the country's most famous marketplaces, which are used by millions of Ukrainians. Our services are already used by Rozetka, Prom, Vchasno, Bigl, Shafa, Volonter by Prom, Vodafone, Robota.ua, Yakaboo and others.

About the team:

The operational finance team of RozetkaPay currently employs 17 specialists, divided by direction.

In the direction of working with banks, where a vacancy is currently open, there are 5 operational managers and team members.

The team daily and monthly reconciles transactions in the database with the bank, processes financial claims (chargeback), configures the software so that the data in the accounting systems is accurate and calculations performed correctly and also registers virtual terminals. 

Important for this role:

• experience working with Excel and analytical skills, ability to work with large data sets (formulas/functions, pivot tables)
• experience working in finance (working with online payments, client-banks, payment systems)
• ability to communicate simply and easily, as there will be a lot of interaction with internal teams and external partners
• responsibility, attention to detail, proactivity
• willingness to learn a lot of new information
• ability and willingness to work with non-standard situations

Will be an advantage:

• experience with chargeback claims
• understanding of the operation of the payment system, how transactions work and features of working with online payments 
• experience in automating processes
• experience working in e-commerce or fintech companies
• knowledge of the basics of accounting

Tasks:

• daily reconciliation with payment infrastructure entities (PI) regarding transfers using electronic means of payment
• processing and analysis of financial claims (Chargeback)— collection and provision of information for contesting received requests
• ensuring full and timely settlement of the company with all participants of payment systems, communication with them
• communication with banks regarding the registration of terminals for online payments, making the necessary settings in the software
• participation in the processes of automation of reconciliations (writing requirements, communication with the development team)
• communication with by partner banks and accounting for the purpose of reconciliation and approval of primary documents
