Occupational safety engineer (with knowledge of the English language) in Lugera Ukraine

A leading international company engaged in the production, distribution and sale of a wide range of tobacco products is looking for a labor safety engineer (with knowledge of English)

Main responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with Ukrainian legislation on labor protection at the enterprise.
• Preventive work on industrial safety.
• Organization and conducting training on industrial safety, implementation of global best practices.
• Investigation of accidents at the enterprise.
• Accompanying occupational health and safety inspections.
• Providing methodological support to employees on issues safety.
• Conducting briefings on industrial safety.
• Organization and support of workplace certification.
• Ensuring compliance with labor protection requirements and international standards by subcontractors.

• Reporting on industrial safety issues.

Basic requirements:

• Higher education (preferably technical).< /li>
• Work experience of 2 years in the occupational health and safety department in international companies.
• In-depth knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in the field of industrial safety.
• Confident user of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint , Excel).
• Proficiency in English at Upper Intermediate level or higher.
• Team player with developed communication skills, responsible, self-organized, attentive to details.
