Provide, within the scope of competence, advisory and methodological assistance to educational institutions of the district on issues of compliance with the Law of Ukraine "On Labor Protection".

Participates in the established manner in the work of commissions investigating accidents, occupational diseases and accidents at production, in accordance with the Regulation on the investigation and record-keeping of accidents, occupational diseases and accidents at work.

Contributes to the activity and familiarization of the heads of educational institutions on issues related to occupational safety and health in the field of education to ensure the implementation of the laws of Ukraine , acts of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Civil Defense Code of Ukraine. orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Department of Education and Science of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) on these issues. of the state administration.

Participates in the organization and implementation of preventive measures aimed at eliminating harmful and dangerous production factors, preventing accidents in the educational process, occupational diseases and other cases of threats to the life or health of educational participants - the educational process. 

Develops draft orders within the scope of the department's competence

Monitoring educational institutions of the Pechersk District and analyzing the circumstances and causes of accidents, occupational diseases, and accidents at work.

Preparation of information on labor protection issues of the Department of Education and Innovative Development of the Pechersk District State Administration in the city of Kyiv, which is within the competence of the department.
