Node.js Developer in WebbyLab

WebbyLab is a Ukrainian IT outsourcing company. We develop scalable and multifunctional web applications and mobile applications using the Node.js, React, React Native, PHP stack. We have successfully implemented projects for Daimler Mercedes-Benz, Bayer, Pfizer, Uber, Ezlo, etc.

We are looking for a Node.js Developer with deep knowledge in backend developers.

We expect the candidate to understand the principles of ACID, SOLID and CAP theorem, as well as experience in creating scalable and reliable solutions. It is important that you are able to work with architecture, complex business logic and integrations with third-party services.

Your tasks will include the development of new functionality, implementation of solutions for new customers and development of existing products.

Your skills:

• 2+ years of experience working with Node.js (Express, Koa);
• Knowledge of best practices in development on
• Confident experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL;
• Confident use of TypeORM or Sequelize;
• Experience with Docker;
• Good understanding of the event-oriented model in Node.js;
• Experience with test frameworks (Mocha, Jest, Ava);
• Good understanding of basic concepts of cryptography (Hash functions, encryption, coding);
• Understanding of MVC concept and SOLID principles;
• Understanding of SDLC;
• Basic knowledge of Linux distribution administration.

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of JavaScript runtimes;
• Understanding of clean architecture principles;
• Knowledge and experience with MongoDB and Mongoos;
• Understanding algorithmic complexity and the ability to analyze and manage it;
• Ability to work with monitoring systems and analyze metrics;
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP;
• Knowledge and understanding of modern Web development (ES6, webpack, ESLint);
• Experience in creating, developing or publishing libraries or packages;
• Knowledge of English at the level Intermediate+.
