We work in the areas of education, child protection, overcoming child poverty, health care, and also carry out advocacy activities related to the protection of children's rights.

The Program Manager (PM) will have overall responsibility for overseeing the implementation of projects in Kharkiv in CP, Education, FSL, CVA, WASH, Shelter and NFI. Reporting to the Field Manager, they will manage the Coordinators and Program Managers and ensure that gaps are filled when the Operations position(s) at the Coordinator or higher operational level becomes vacant.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience working with a humanitarian/development organization, preferably in eastern Ukraine
  • University degree (Bachelor's level, preferably Master's ) in a relevant academic discipline
  • Skills and experience in project/programme implementation, monitoring, review and evaluation, preferably with a child rights approach as appropriate to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and international humanitarian rights standards.
  • Significant staff and program management experience with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Significant grant management experience including retention budget and donor reporting.
  • Significant understanding or proven experience of security management issues.
  • Ability to produce quality reports in English language.
  • Representational, political awareness and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work with limited line manager supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of all programs in the relevant area, supporting the field manager to achieve relevant KPIs
  • Provide direct support and strategic direction to Kharkiv operations teams for the transition to PRIME, including updated logic diagrams , DIP, PP, HR plans, etc.
  • Collaboration with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly reports MEAL
  • In collaboration with HoP / AD and FM, develop and monitor the master budget forecast and cash requests for events in Kharkiv, make recommendations for adaptive measures.
  • Provide guidance to operational teams on compliance deadlines related to applications
  • Planning for the efficient use of Program resources, ensuring that all resources/assets in the project are managed accordingly to SC and Donor policies.
  • Monitor and report on Program progress on program and budgetobjectives, as well as work with Technical Advisors/Specialists to make adjustments to the Program structure as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Awards reporting teams and coordinators to provide input, review and deliver timely and high-quality donor reports .
