Movement Cooperation Officer is responsible for supporting and maintaining effective collaboration with the various entities of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and diplomatic institutions. This role involves support in coordination, facilitating communication, and ensuring that cooperative efforts align with URCS policies and approaches

Essential Tasks:

  • Formal mailing and communication with the partners
  • Support of communication between the relevant URCS units and partners when needed
  • Cooperation with other URCS departments and units on partnership related tasks
  • Involvement in organization of meetings, preparation of the minutes of meetings
  • Support in development and implementation of activities and initiatives within the frame of Unit`s operational plan
  • Preparation and update of informational materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external use
  • Preparation and maintenance of required documentation and records within the Unit
  • Coordinating the signing process of framework partnership agreements within the URCS and maintaining the agreement archives
  • Maintaining the cooperation data base
  • Written translation of documents into English/Ukrainian
  • Oral translation into English/Ukrainian during meetings/workshops/events

Additional Tasks:

  • Assistance to international delegations duringmonitoring visits and high-level visits
  • Carrying out trips around Ukraine and abroad to assist and accompany URCS representatives and delegates
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the unit’s/department`s goals and objectives

Requirements

  • University degree: Preferably Master`s degree in International Relations, Humanitarian Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Professional experience in partnership and cooperation (support and assistance in managing partnership relations with various stakeholders)
  • Experience in managing databases and knowledge of PowerBI as plus
  • Prior engagement with the Red Cross Movement and/or humanitarian agencies and familiarity with the humanitarian sector
  • Proven experience working in multi-language environments and assistance in translation and interpreting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Proactive and results-oriented
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent command of Ukrainian (oral and written)
  • Excellent command of English (oral and written)
  • Other foreign languages as a plus
