JOB INFORMATION

Accountable and technically supported Customer Response and Accountability Specialist (CRA ), the Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant performs well-defined tasks at the field office level, which will ensure the establishment of feedback mechanisms (proactive and reactive), regular promotion, collection of feedback and timely response to them. He/she will contribute to strengthening IRC program monitoring efforts to optimize the monitoring, accountability and training practices of the IRC mission in Ukraine to ensure quality programming focused on the needs of our clients and support the global ambitions of IRC's Strategy 100. The position belongs to the central structure, but it is expected that the candidate will be physically located either in Dnipro or in Kharkiv.

KEY DUTIES

  • Feedback mechanism promotion: Regularly promote the customer feedback mechanism/channels throughout the project area and ensure that these channels are well known to customers, staff, etc., and were available to all interested parties.  
  • Collect feedback from various sources, ensuring it is accurately recorded and documented, and collaborate with the program to support routine data collection in accordance with the M&E/MEAL project plan.
  • Support collection efforts data as part of a proactive channel by conducting surveys (customer satisfaction surveys, focus group discussions and interviews with key informants).
  • Working with the hotline: in accordance with the requirements of the standard of operational procedures in Ukraine on issues of response and accountability customer and protection, answer calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and assistance to callers.
  • Closing the Loop: In close collaboration with the Customer Response and Accountability Specialist and Sector Feedback Officers to ensure a timely response to all appeals by providing clear and detailed explanations of the actions taken in response to their comments and suggestions.
  • Ensure registration of all feedback in the feedback register and maintain the relevance of monitoring databases and clients.
  • Perform monitoring visits
  • Other related duties as assigned by Customer Response and Accountability Specialist and/or Customer Response and Accountability Manager

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Education:Bachelor's degree in management, social sciences, law or other fields.

    Work Experience: Experience working on a hotline, collecting customer feedback, and/or coursework in monitoring and evaluation research methods, quantitative and qualitative analysis is a plus.

    Available skills and abilities:

    • Ability to carry out M&E/MEAL activities based on supervisor's instructions;
    • Having a basic understanding of mechanisms and functions of monitoring and feedback to clients;
    • Experience of working with communities, youth and adults of various origins;
    • Good written and oral communication skills;
    • Free mastery of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Word;
    • Willingness to travel to various regional and field offices;
    • Language: Ukrainian, Russian - fluent; English - working level (B1).

    External:Current and potential IRC clients.
