Middle QA Tester (Manual + AI) in NextDoorCoders

We are looking for an attentive and persistent candidate who is ready to become part of our team and take on the duties of a manual tester.

Our company is actively working on many projects, including their development and further support. To ensure the high quality of products, we need a specialist who is able to test both small tasks before handing over to the customer, and large functional blocks and projects as a whole.

We offer:

• flexible work schedule (main working hours between 10:00 and 19:00)

• salary 25-35 thousand UAH (depending on the level), payment 2 times a month;
• trial period - 2 months (paid, 80% of the desired ZP)?;

• paid vacation — 2 weeks a year after the first 6 months of work;

Will a plus:

• experience or interest in using AI-tools in testing;
• ability to use AI to accelerate the preparation of test cases and requirements analysis;
• understanding of the life cycle of a task from idea to release;
• attention to details and responsibility.

Main responsibilities:

• testing new features and fixed bugs (re-testing) based on the client's description or video (in the absence of technical documentation);
• writing clear and structured tasks for further development using AI tools (correct description of functionality and expected behavior);
• effective communication with developers: clarifying the status of bug fixes, clear explanation of the essence of the problem and its reproduction scenarios;
• assessing the quality of interfaces without ready-made usability or TK from the point of view and expectations of the final user;
• verification of the implemented functionality for compliance with business logic and user scenarios in the absence of detailed TOR;
• attention to details: comparison of prototypes and design with the finished layout or integration, detection of visual and functional inaccuracies.
• multitasking: the ability to effectively work with several projects and several developers within one working day, correctly prioritizing tasks.

The selection process consists of several stages:

1. Short communication in Telegram- we will send several questions to which we will expect written answers.
2. Test task - record a short video of the testing process of any site (you can choose the site yourself). It is important to us: what tools you use during testing, how you reason and analyze the product during the verification process, and what details, scenarios and potential problems you pay attention to.
3. Online call - introduction, discussion of your experience, answers to our questions and the opportunity to ask your own.
