We are currently interested in and looking for Middle+ Linux Administrator in Slovakia or with the possibility of relocation to this country. We offer quality tasks, measured and calm work, an opportunity to implement technical solutions.
Responsibilities and goals:
- support and development of the Linux system;
- automation of maintenance tasks for this infrastructure;
- improvements to existing automation tools. Creation of new automation tools;
- assessment of tasks, their risks and potential problems. Forming and setting tasks for colleagues, monitoring their execution;
- identification of existing and potential infrastructure problems. Assessment of their relevance and decision in order of priority;
- research, testing and decision-making regarding the use of tools to solve, detect and prevent problems in the infrastructure;
- study of new technologies, their strengths and weaknesses, contexts of application. Providing technology research results to the team in an understandable form.
Our expectations, YOU:
- a confident user of Linux OS: you know how to install and configure the system, you understand the principles of network operation and network protocols, managed disk mapping and users;
- have experience in administration of Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Exim, Dovecot, BIND, PHP;
- you have experience in automation using Bash, PERL;
- know kvm/qemu virtualization;
- understand such protocols as POP/IMAP, FTP, HTTP;
- worked with git, Linux containers - docker, podman.
