Middle DevOps Engineer in NIK-ELEKTRONIKA, TOV

NIK-Elektronika LLP - a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of equipment for automating energy accounting. We create modern electricity, water and heat meters, as well as software for their management. For more than 20 years, we have been implementing innovative solutions for transparent and efficient accounting of energy resources, working both on the Ukrainian and international markets.

We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to strengthen our engineering team. You will be responsible for automating deployment processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure management and monitoring of our cloud services.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• CI/CD: Development, implementation and support of reliable and automated CI/CD pipelines (for Web and/or Back-end applications).
• Infrastructure: Management and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring its stability and security.
• Containerization: Work with Docker for containerizing applications and supporting Kubernetes environments.
• Automation: Writing scripts to automate routine operations and deployment processes.
• Monitoring: Setting up monitoring systems, logging and notifications for proactive problem detection.
• Collaboration: Close collaboration with developers to optimize application build and deployment processes

Basic Requirements (Must-Have):

• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE.
• Cloud: Experience with one of the leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform).
• CI/CD Tools: Strong experience configuring pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or style="font-weight: 700">Azure DevOps.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and basic understanding of Kubernetes (minikube, YAML basics, deployments, services).
• Scrypting: Proficiency in Bash/Shell and/or Python for automation.
• Git: Proficiency in Git and understanding of GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development.
• Linux: Confident administration of operating systems based on Linux.

Will be an Advantage (Nice-to-Have):

• IaaC: Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitoring: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Databases: Experience in administration and monitoring of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
• Certification: Availability of certificates from cloud providers (for example, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
