Since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24 In 2022, Ukraine was subjected to heavy artillery fire, rocket and airstrikes, as well as the use of land mines and cluster munitions. The scale of the conflict and the use of powerful and indiscriminate weapons requires an immediate response. MAG's mission is to save lives and build a safer future by providing people with educational risk information to help them stay alive.

Responsibilities will include:
Technical:
• Maintenance: Perform mechanical inspections, maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment within the program.
• Management: Develop maintenance schedules according to MAG operational requirements and ensure/oversee their implementation.
• Planning: Project the use of consumables and spare parts for mechanical equipment held within the program and assist the logistics department in procurement according to the program SOP.
• Quality assurance: conducting, monitoring and supervising external mechanical inspections, maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment.
Infrastructure development (workshops):
o In cases where there are workshops (mobile and/or permanent), review the setup and identify any health and safety concerns and develop plans to ensure compliance.
o Where there are no workshops, in conjunction with the Mechanical Support Manager assess the requirements for their creation.
o Support the Mechanical Support Manager in overseeing the construction of workshops where possible.
Communication and reporting
•Ensure the Mechanical Support Manager is fully informed of all technical issues and any technical difficulties arising in connection with the use of mechanical equipment.
• As requested by the Mechanical Support Manager and the Technical Manager participate in all investigations and reports incidents/accidents involving MAG mechanical equipment.
Duties of all MAG personnel
Within syour responsibilities all MAG employees must:
• Maintain and implement standard MAG policies, including but not limited to the Personal Conduct Policy, Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults, Dignity at Work, Financial Crime Policy, Gifts and Hospitality Policy and Equal Opportunities Policy.
• Understand and adhere to the standards set out in the MAG Safety Concept, act with due care and attention to protect the welfare of all who come into contact with MAG's work, and report problems if they arise.
• Work within MAG's core values, promoting its ethos and mission.
Work on the achievement of the department's program and/or business plan.
• Ensure that all MAG policies and procedures are followed, as well as keep abreast of MAG activities.
Duties of all MAG staff
As part of their duties, all MAG employees are required to:
• Maintain and implement MAG's standard policies, including but not limited to personal conduct, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, dignity at work, financial crime policy, gifts and hospitality policy and equal opportunities policy.

• Apply knowledge from relevant training and development programs.
ABOUT YOU:
