General information about the employee role:

Under the guidance of the Lead MEAL (Partner Work) Specialist, the MEAL (Partner Work) Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the full cycle of projects or project activities implemented by partners and/or supporting partners in the implementation of their tasks in the field MEAL.

Main job duties:

  • The MEAL specialist (working with partners) adheres to ethical principles in the performance of his tasks and responsibilities 

 

  • The MEAL Specialist (Partnership) is involved in assessing MEAL partners' potential/capabilities, as appropriate, and planning support for MEAL partners as identified. 

  • As the MEAL Coordinator (FP) in the assigned project(s), the MEAL (Partnership) Specialist is responsible for the planning and implementation or support of MEAL-related activities in assigned projects implemented by partners or in partnership. 

  • The MEAL (Partner Affairs) Specialist works with partner organization staff and relevant PIN program staff, especially the Partner Affairs Department, to ensure information sharing and timely implementation of MEAL activities. 

  • Participates in the development of MEAL tools for planned monitoring activities. 

  • by the appropriate PIN program staff upon request. 

     

  • Together with the Lead MEAL Specialist (Working with Partners), the MEAL Specialist (Working with Partners) conducts trainings and information sessions on the basics of the MEAL approach and MEAL tools for employees of partner organizations. 

  • The MEAL Specialist (Partnership) supports the MEAL Lead Specialist (Partnership) in MEAL activities as requested.

  • Supports staff of partner organizations in developing tools and conducting data collection activities.
