OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:
SCI looking for a consultant/ in monitoring, assessment, reporting, training and accountability to children and communities, who is ready to join our team during the maternity leave of our employee. The position will be available from October 16, and we are looking for a candidate who can quickly adapt and contribute to the mission of our organization.
Main duties:
- Support the implementation of SCI MEAL processes in emergency situations and MiE System Quality Benchmarks.
- Develop standard monitoring tools in cooperation with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Accountability Coordinator and program staff;
- Creating data flow mechanisms using standard tools, including collection, storage, analysis, interpretation and timely feedback to stakeholders in collaboration with program staff;
- Help in the development and implementation of quality and quantitative assessments if necessary;
- Provide training and capacity building for members teams and partners when necessary;
- Data quality assurance on the ground, identifying sources of errors and inconsistencies and providing feedback that will help improve data quality;
- Assist in recording relevant training, associated with the response training program.
- Ensure feedback is processed in accordance with the agreed Standard Operating Procedure for feedback processing, as well as registration of feedback and responses in the Feedback Database yakuza Ensure the quality of feedback documentation (data quality, categorization, etc.).
- According to the Standard Operating Procedure with feedback, receive and register feedback and responses to them in the Feedback Database.
- Pass feedback to the appropriate team, including rapid identification and referral of serious issues such as child protection, malicious software, sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as fraud and corruption.
- React and communicate with children and adults in a dignified and respectful manner regarding their feedback, including informing them of what decisions have been made based on their feedback and ensuring that it is documented in the Feedback and Suggestions Database. Where appropriate, support implementing staff in establishing a full feedback loop.
- Contribute to quarterly reporting on key indicators effectiveness of the program at the national level.
- To promote a deep understanding of the principles of children's rights , accountability to children and communities, as well as children's participation by conducting introductory briefings and trainings together with other employees of the accountability department.
To be successful, you must have
- At least 1 year of work experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation, accountability, study programs OR experience in Accountability to Children and Communities (ACC) in emergencies.
- Experience working with children and/or groups most affected by discrimination and inequality
- Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm, the ability to develop and test new ways of working and solving problems.
- Commitment to the goals and principles of Save the Children. In particular, a good understanding of Save the Children's mandate and children's rights, and the ability to ensure that this continues to be at the heart of our support.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
- Experience of conducting focus group discussions.
- Demonstrated report writing skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in MS Office.
