MAG is an international organization that has been clearing areas of explosive ordnance for more than 30 years and educating about risks in more than 34 countries around the world. MAG saves lives and builds futures by working with others to restore lands contaminated by the debris of conflict, reduce the daily risk of death or injury to civilians, and create safe conditions for development. In 1997, MAG shared a Nobel Prize for its work as a founding member of the International Company to Ban Landmines. Our vision is a safe future for men, women and children affected by armed violence or conflict.

Our Mission:

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24 In 2022, Ukraine was subjected to heavy artillery fire, rocket and airstrikes, as well as the use of land mines and cluster munitions. The scale of the conflict and the use of powerful and indiscriminate weapons requires an immediate response. MAG's mission is to save lives and build a safer future by providing people with educational risk information to help them stay alive.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with employee appeals regarding personnelissues (acceptance of vacation applications, dismissal, coordination with managers, insurance, etc.); 

  • Supporting the process of hiring, transferring and firing employees (including work with documents, applications, orders, etc.); 

  •  

  • Providing advice to employees on personnel matters; 

  • Working with department correspondence; 

  • of the year;

  • Experience working in non-governmental organizations (NGO) will be an advantage;

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);

  • Knowledge of languages:
    • Ukrainian — fluent (oral and written).

    • English — high level.

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with employee requests regarding HR issues (receiving vacation applications, dismissals, coordination with managers, insurance, etc.);

  • Supporting the process of hiring, transferring and dismissing employees (including working with documents, applications, orders, etc.);

  • Monitoring attendance at work, employee timesheets;

  • Maintaining the relevance of HR databases and registers, monitoring the availability of paper documents (original applications, orders, memos, etc.);

  • Providing advice to employees on HR issues; 

  • Dealing with department correspondence;

  • Cooperation with the Base Manager on solving local HR issues. 

Requirements:

  • Specialized higher education;  

  • Experience inpersonnel affairs from 1 year;  

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);

  • Experience in an NGO will be an advantage.

  • Languages:

    • Ukrainian — fluent (spoken and written).

    • English — high level.
