The DOT Defense Procurement Agency is a state enterprise engaged in the procurement of equipment, ammunition, UAVs, food, clothing, fuel and lubricants for the Armed Forces and the Defense Forces. 

Our mission: we provide the Defense Forces and develop the national military-industrial complex for the stability and defense capability of Ukraine. 

Job duties:

• Monitoring of defense markets of goods, works and services.
• Formation of a database regarding potential suppliers, product nomenclature and its quantitative indicators.
• Preparation of inquiries regarding receiving information and commercial offers from potential suppliers.
• Participation in the verification procedure of potential suppliers.
• Administration of the register of verified suppliers.
• Analysis of technical requirements and characteristics of defense goods.
• Development, coordination of technical characteristics for tenders and defense purchases.
• Resolving controversial and problematic issues with suppliers, manufacturers and the state customer.
• Planning and ensuring the performance of specified tasks within the scope of the job description.
• Participation in the development of regulations, methods, programs.
• Study of production processes of potential suppliers, participation in exhibitions and profile events.
• Compliance with anti-corruption legislation and ethical standards of the enterprise.

Requirements for candidates:

• Higher education in a relevant professional field.
• At least 1 year of experience in similar positions.
• Knowledge of the legislation of Ukraine, acts of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers, MoU and international treaties in the field of defense activities.
• The ability to navigate and understand the technical requirements and characteristics of defense goods.
• Knowledge of the rules Incoterms.
• Knowledge of legal acts regulating foreign economic activity.
• Skills in analytical work, processing large arrays of information.
• Ability to prepare official requests and respond to appeals.
• Organizational skills to prepare documentation and interact with suppliers and customers.
• High level of responsibility, organization, attention to details.
• Observance of ethics, integrity, privacy.
• Sufficient command of office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Database skills (creation, updating, filtering, analysis).
• Experience with internal electronic document management systems would be an advantage.
