Lead Shopify Developer in Kozak Group

Location: Ukraine

As a Lead Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of our Shopify stores. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that enhance the user experience and drive business growth. Your expertise in Shopify development will be crucial in leading our team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of Shopify stores, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize Shopify store performance, including page speed, SEO, and user experience.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, best practices, and industry trends.

   

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Shopify’s platform, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Shopify Plus and custom app development is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce) is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
