Junior System administrator in Resorcer

We are looking for a Junior System Administrator for a Ukrainian energy company engaged in the construction and management of wind and solar power plants.

This role will include a wide range of responsibilities, including the following:

• Administration and support of the company's network and system infrastructure for 60+ users located in Kyiv, including involving external contractors.

• Solving operational problems related to servers, desktops (physical and virtual), laptops and the stability and performance of network infrastructure.

• Implementation and development, control, maintenance, security, monitoring of the use of specialized system procedures and infrastructure.

• Constant monitoring of IT platform availability, vulnerability scanning systems, ensuring a consistent data backup and software update regime.

• Implementation of security compliance requirements and best practices as required by annual independent security assessments and other company technology infrastructure documentation.

• Implementing and documenting Business Continuity Plan (BCP) testing procedures.

• Supporting various cloud systems including MS365, Dropbox, Zoom.

• Periodic travel to data centers in Iceland and Norway.

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics or related field.

• Microsoft Specialist Certification and other relevant certifications will be considered as advantage.

• Relevant work experience of five years or more (preferably in an international company).

• Proficiency in English at the Asdvanced level is also considered an advantage.

• Passed tests or certification of Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Check Point, Veeam and/or any other is a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, Exchange 2016 and above, Check Point Firewall Appliances (R80 and above), Veeam Backup and Replication, Ivanti Patch Security Controls, Microsoft SQL Server 2019.

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Office 2019/365.

• Automating processes using PowerShell and/or Python.

• Practical understanding Mikrotik, Linux.

• Wide demonstrated knowledge of the OSI model; a clear understanding of the interaction between hardware, operating system software, and network operations, as well as the design and administration requirements to ensure an efficient, reliable, secure infrastructure.

• Ability to work in a team and a history of providing high levels of end user/customer customer service.
