DRB is currently looking for a Junior IT Management Specialist for its inKharkov.
General purpose of the role:
Under the direction of the Logistics and Public Procurement Group Leader, you will provide support to all DRC staff. As a key member of Support Services, you will play a critical role in keeping our systems and networks running smoothly, allowing our people to focus on to his main job.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Solve administrative tasks in accordance with DRC internal rules and procedures.
- Support the Kharkiv and Slavic teams on IT-related issues. Manage all IT equipment and video surveillance systems.
- Configure workspace and peripherals.
- Create manuals and conduct IT training for staff.
- Manage user accounts, including password resets and MFA, ensure data security.
- Analyze networks and resolve emerging issues.
- Collaborate with Procurement on IT equipment inventory.
- Ensure IT purchases and maintenance and repair of IT equipment as needed.
- Adhere to IT procedures and resolve technical issues as determined by management/Organizational IT Director.
- Support program staff with major procurement, if necessary (furniture, IT, consumables, visuals, equipment).
- Provide necessary administrative support to program staff regarding office maintenance / IT equipment
- Registration, proper accounting of all assets and equipment, including tags, etc.
- Monitor compliance with the organization's international code of conduct, internal and donor instructions/procedures for procurement of IT equipment in the DRC to avoid conflicts of interest.
- Other administrative tasks at the request of the manager.
Aboutyou:
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have at least 2 years of relevant experience in ITor equivalent field, preferably NGO experience.
In addition, wealso expect:
- Understanding of basic network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN).
- Knowledge of the Windows 10/11 operating system at the administrator level.
- Knowledge of computer equipment and the ability to diagnose problems related to it
- Experience with Office 365 and troubleshooting skills in a Microsoft environment.
- Excellent MS Excel skills and Word, experience with ERP systems preferred
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, communication, financial literacy
- Willingness to learn and implement organizational policies and procedures
< li>Proficiency in English at an intermediate or higher level for oral and written communication with colleagues.- Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
- Secondary or higher education.
