Junior Project Manager in Ericsson Ukraine

Ericsson is a global leader in telecommunications equipment and related services for mobile and fixed network operators. We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, plan, and manage software release activities, including major configuration tasks and the development of deliverables into production.
• Distribute and prioritize Change Requests (CRs) delivery across various releases and communicate release and configuration plans to stakeholders.
• Align release schedules with all relevant stakeholders and ensure successful deployment of releases.
• Monitor and report progress of software releases against time, quality, and budget targets.
• Oversee multiple release branches, including merging changes between branches, and conduct readiness and milestone reviews.
• Automate release management processes using tools and scripts to build, integrate, and deploy software releases.
• Plan and manage release cycles and windows for different solution components.
• Ensure that releases are thoroughly tested before deployment to production and validate release notes.
• Manage release lifecycles across production and non-production environments, ensuring they meet expectations.
• Handle risks and resolve issues affecting release scope, quality, and schedule.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to enhance application stability and performance.
• Assist the ADM Manager in managing the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing.
• Support the coordination and execution of End-to-End (E2E) test plans.
• Experience in testing or prior experience in a Project Management (PM) role is a plus.

Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in software delivery and as a Junior Project Manager in the software development field.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications environments.
• Experience with both waterfall (e.g., PMI) and agile (e.g., SCRUM) delivery methodologies.
• Customer-oriented with an understanding of service provider business needs.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage change and collaborate within teams.
• Exposure to IT Managed Services and ADM delivery at the mid-management level.
• Ability to execute projects at scale in dynamic environments.
• Experience in testing or a background in Project Management (PM) is an advantage.
