"Eastern Ukrainian Center for Community Initiatives" (SCGI) announces a vacancy for a junior project manager.
SCGI is a public human rights organization with over 20 years of experience. Since the beginning of the war, the Center has been working to restore justice and peace in Ukraine. The main duties of a junior project manager:
preparation and conducting project events (presentations, trainings, exhibitions, seminars, meetings, etc.);
support and development of partnerships with existing and potential partners (groups of war victims, public organizations, art and culture institutions, education; artists, human rights defenders; state authorities and local governments, etc.), involvement of partners in project activities;
interaction with mass media, journalists and bloggers;
development of ideas and implementation of educational, advocacy and information campaigns, which will be based on the information collected by the CSGI about human rights violations during the war;
participation in the preparation of project products (within professional qualifications);
preparation of plans and substantive reports for the project, participation in the preparation of financial documents for the project;
etc.
Requirements for candidates:
strong organizational skills, confirmed by work experience in the field of cultural management and/or human rights, educational and educational projects;
experience in interaction with the mass media, managing social networks is an advantage;
initiative, strong and clear motivation to work in a project aimed at establishing justice, restoring the rights of victims, building sustainable peace;
ability to work both in a team and independently, developed communication skills;
readiness for an intensive work schedule in certain periods of the project, business trips around Ukraine (outside the areas of hostilities) and border;
emotional readiness to work for a long time with information about violence and human grief;
fluency in the Ukrainian language, linguistic literacy;
awareness of the issues of war, in including since 2014, thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian and international organizations, the creative community, who are working to win and overcome the consequences of the war.
