Versus Trade
We are seeking a Junior Payments and KYC Specialist to support day-to-day payment and verification operations while ensuring accuracy and consistency in client transactions and data. This role is focused on operational checks, validation of payment and client details, handling payment and KYC-related cases, and supporting internal teams in resolving operational issues.
The position is well suited for candidates with an operational or support background (e.g. Tier 2 Customer Support, back office, fintech operations) who are detail-oriented, process-driven, and ready to grow within the payments and verification domain. No deep compliance or regulatory expertise is required — training and internal procedures will be provided.
Responsibilities
Support daily payment operations (deposits, withdrawals, transaction status tracking).
Review and validate payment-related data, including amounts, client names, references, and statuses.
Compare client profile data with payment and withdrawal details to identify mismatches.
Process and monitor payment and KYC-related tickets in line with internal procedures and SLAs.
Perform basic KYC and verification checks (data consistency, document completeness).
Identify inconsistencies or errors in transactions or client data and escalate cases when required.
Assist customer support teams with payment and KYC-related escalations.
Ensure customer records and transaction data are accurate, complete, and properly documented.
Perform routine operational checks using predefined checklists and instructions.
Contribute to improving operational accuracy and reducing payment and verification-related errors.
Requirements
0.5–1+ years of experience in operational roles such as back office, Tier 2 customer support, fintech operations, or payment/KYC-related support.
Basic understanding of client deposit, withdrawal, and verification processes.
Ability to carefully compare and validate transactional and client data (names, amounts, statuses, documents).
Experience working with tickets, queues, or operational requests.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive processes.
Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and internal guidelines.
Clear written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure during peak operational loads.
English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher.
Willingness to work in shift rotation.
