Within the Strategy and Agreements practice the Transaction Diligence team provides services to clients, including investment funds, multinational and national corporations, as well as international financial organizations in the process of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Although financial due diligence is a central element of the value proposition of the Deal Support team , team representatives are also involved in the assessment of business plans of potential objects for investment, analytical support in the process of assessing the attractiveness of potential investments, negotiations and documentation preparation for closing M&A deals.

Responsibilities

In the position of junior analyst in the Transaction Diligence team, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:

• Analysis of operational and financial information of potential transactions objects for investment.
• High-level analysis of legal documents of potential objects for investment
• Participation in interviews with representatives of potential objects for investing, including with top management
• Working in a team with shared responsibility, communicating and keeping senior team members informed of progress.

Requirements

• 3-5th year student or recent graduate of the finance/economics faculty
• Have knowledge of accounting (reporting forms, etc. )
• English language proficiency level - B2 and above
• In-depth knowledge of office applications: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word (knowledge Alteryx and PowerBI will be a plus)
• Excellent analytical skills and strong communication skills
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be a plus
• Up to one year of financial audit experience will be an advantage.
