Junior Data Reporting Engineer in Niks

Join our Data Reporting team to work on an important project in Healthcare. We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Engineer who enjoys combining the logic of data with its visual representation. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom reports, working with complex SQL queries and writing scripts to "revive" data. This is a great opportunity to enter the Health-tech industry and develop your skills in data visualization and backend logic.

Mission:

Ensure clarity and accuracy of healthcare reporting. Your mission is to transform complex data sets into accurate, well-structured reports that stakeholders use to make decisions. You will be the link that connects the "raw" records in the database and the final visual output, ensuring that every number and layout element is in its place.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Ability to read, understand and maintain complex SQL queries (PostgreSQL). You should not be afraid of nested selects or joins.
• Basic knowledge of C# (or a similar C-style language). You don't need to be a .NET developer, but you should be able to write and edit simple scripts to describe report logic.
• Attention to detail is critical. In Healthcare, accuracy is everything. You should notice the smallest discrepancies in the data.
• English Intermediate (B1/B2). Must be able to read specifications and documentation and be able to communicate with the team.

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED FOR YOU:

• Design the structure of a variety of custom reports.
• Analyze and edit complex SQL queries to ensure the correct data is retrieved for each report.
• Write and modify simple C# scripts to handle specific logic and interactions within reports.
• Check generated reports for complete compliance and flawless data display.
• Work closely with the team to understand specific reporting needs and implement technical solutions.

WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE:

• Experience with any reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, SSRS, DevExpress or JasperReports.
• Understanding of Healthcare data concepts or formats.
• Basic understanding of Git.
