IT System Administrator in Kyiv Strategy Consulting

The IT system administrator role is to support smooth business operations of the company and solve various technical issues.

Responsibilities:

Hardware and Software sustainability

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network, servers, and virtualization.
• Support Company’s workers, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
• Arrange new working places, IT equipment set up. Create user accounts, accesses, install necessary SW Microsoft Windows, Office, Teams, One Drive, Google suite.
• Troubleshoot IT issues and outages of the Company.
• Support possible IT infrastructure and equipment relocations.
• Arrange IT equipment repair works.
• Arrange systems update with new releases and models.
• Provide antivirus and security checks.
• Providing reports to team leader on work done.

IT Infrastructure

• Maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, PCs, local and wide area networking both HW and SW and mid-range server HW
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Participate in IT infrastructure merge and unification once needed
• Handle databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance

Required qualifications and competencies:

• Higher tech education 
• 5+ years of relevant experience 
• Proficiency in Microsoft products
• Cyber security knowledge
• Problem-solving approach
• Upper intermediate English  
• Strong communication skills
