The British Embassy Kyiv is part of a worldwide network, representing British political, economic and consular interests overseas. We are recruiting an experienced IT Support Officer (ITSO) to be part of the Corporate Services Team.The main purpose of the job is to be the first point of contact and support the Country-Based Staff (CBS) on IT and mobile phone systems, as well as any other administrative tasks that might arise.Roles And Main ResponsibilitiesBeing a first point of contact for staff for any IT-related issues;Administration of IT systems, accounts, distribution lists and phone systems;Administration of IT-related contracts with local service suppliers;Set up and administration of IT in offices;Maintain inventory of Embassy IT stock;Procurement of office machinery and IT supplies locally and from the UK;Software updates and hardware upgrades for IT systems;Regular checks of IT operability in the Embassy premises;Providing advice on IT-related policies;Administration of mobile phones;Arranging contracts for internet service and IT support at UK staff accommodation;Any other ad-hoc administrative tasks relating to IT and telephony.
