We are looking for a qualified and motivated Support Engineer to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation and optimization of IT systems and provide technical support to end users. The main focus of this role is working with Microsoft and Atlassian technologies, ensuring high quality of service and effective resolution of technical issues.
Primary responsibilities:
Technical support:
- Providing 1st level technical support for Microsoft technologies (eg: Windows OS, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams), as well as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software and network issues.
- Escalates complex issues to higher level teams as needed.
Systems support:
- Perform regular monitoring, updates and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
- Manage user accounts, access rights and group policies in Active Directory and Azure AD.
Collaboration and communication:
- Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
- Effective communication with stakeholders for understanding and solving problems.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft technologies including Windows OS, Office 365, Azure and SharePoint.
- 2+ years experience in technical support or similar role.
- Experience working with Atlassian for documentation and team building interactions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical users.
Will be an advantage:
- Microsoft certifications (eg: Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
- Experience with ITIL incident and problem management processes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell.
