General information about the program
The Foundation "Partnership for a Strong Ukraine" (FPSU) is a multi-year, donor program managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth of Nations and Development (MFA) of Great Britain. The goal of FSSU is to strengthen the resilience of the Ukrainian government, economy, mass media and Ukrainian civil society by providing the necessary support to relevant partners in the implementation of projects to strengthen resilience.
Job Description
The IT specialist will monitor all aspects of the IT infrastructure in order to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the FSSU in Ukraine and will provide IT support to the project staff. The IT specialist will build and maintain the office IT network, identify and resolve all IT problems. In addition, the IT specialist will monitor all activities for the development of information systems supported by the project.
Main Responsibilities
The main duties of an IT specialist:
Full range of technical support for the operation and administration of laptops, mobile phones, network equipment and local area network in general, as well as access to Internet.
Providing advice and training to staff.
Administration, operation, technical support and monitoring of network equipment, server systems and cyber security systems.
Elimination of problems in the operation of the network, equipment, server systems, network screens and other means of cyber protection of software systems.
Ensuring round-the-clock operation and monitoring of specified systems.
Ensuring safe access to information, its use and integrity, as well as protection of personal data based on rules, methods and politician Kimonix.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, or computer connectivity software and equipment to a local network or the Internet with minimal downtime.
Education of end users on the use of standard systems and applications.
Completing and submitting data for periodic IT security audits by Chemonics head office.
Analyzing existing security systems and making recommendations for changes or improvements.
If necessary, draw up a system outage plan (remediation plan) and a corresponding estimate.
Implementing this plan.
Maintaining proper documentation.
Ensuring capacity building to support a secure project IT environment.
Notices about potential threats that are not covered by Kimonix IT security standards.
Maintaining an up-to-date list of project contacts, security system users, Uber, Signal.
User management in LCD software
Workplace preparation for new users (setting up computers and mobile devices)
IT and office equipment accounting, inventory
Keeping records of Kyivstar and Vodafone users, preparation of consolidated reports
Monitoring and timely updating of licenses and software
Selection of IT equipment for the project
Submitting requests in the Service Desk system
Other duties as needed.
Qualification
To successfully perform the duties of the position, the candidate must be able to satisfactorily perform all essential duties. The following requirements demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the essential duties.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in network administration and performing information technology related duties, with at least 2 years of experience working in an office with 10+ employees.
Proven ability to work independently and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
Experience of successfulcoordination and cooperation with several partners to achieve the expected results.
Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team.
Compulsory command of the English language.
It is desirable to have:
Experience with Cisco Meraki equipment
Experience with systems video surveillance
Experience in building structured cabling systems
Experience in Smartsheet-based automation
li>Basic programming skills
Place of work:
This is a full-time non-remote job in Kyiv.
Control and subordination:
The IT specialist reports directly to the administrative and logistics specialist.

Programme Background
The Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU) is a multi-year, multi-donor funded program managed by the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). The aim of PFRU is to strengthen the resilienceience of the Ukrainian government, economy, media and the Ukrainian civil society by delivering essential resilience project support to the relevant partners.
Position Description
The Information Technology (IT) Officer will oversee all aspects of the IT infrastructure for smooth functioning of the PFRU project in Ukraine and provide IT support for project staff. The IT Officer will establish and maintain the IT network of the office, identify and troubleshoot any IT related matters. In addition, the IT Officer will oversee all information system development activities supported by the project.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The IT Officer’s principal duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
Full range of technical support around operation and administration of laptops, mobile phones, network equipment and local area network in general as well as Internet access.
Providing advice and training for staff.
Administration, operation, technical support and monitoring of network equipment, server systems, and cyber security systems.
Troubleshooting complex network issues, equipment, server systems, firewalls, and other means of software systems cyber protection.
Providing 24x7 operation and monitoring of designated systems.
Implementing secure access to and use and integrity of information and personal data protection based on Chemonics rules, methods and policies.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, or software connecting computers and equipment to a local area network or the Internet with minimum downtime.
Providing training to end users on the use of standard systems and applications.
Completion and submission of data for periodic IT security surveys by Chemonics' head office.
Analyzing existing security systems and providing recommendations for changes or improvements.
If necessary, creating a remediation plan with a cost estimate.
Implementation of the remediation plan.
Maintaining proper documentation.
Ensuring capacity building to maintain a secure IT environment of the project.
Reporting potential threats not covered by Chemonics IT security standards.
Maintaining an up-to-date list of project contacts, security system, Uber, and Signal users.
User management in the ACS software
Preparing workstations for new users (setting up computers and mobile devices)
Keeping a record of IT and office equipment and taking inventory
Keeping a record of Kyivstar and Vodafone users, preparation of summary reports
Monitoring and timely updating licenses and software
Selection of IT equipment for the project
Submission of tickets in the Service Desk system
Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties.
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related sciences.
At least 5 years of network administration and IT related experience, with at least 2 years of experience in an office of more than 10 people.
Strong knowledge of wireless and wired LAN technologies and protocols, programming and network security.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
Experience in successfully coordinating and collaborating with multiple partners to achieve expected results.
Ability to take initiative and work effectively in teams.
Proficiency in English required.
It is desirable to have:

Supervision and Reporting:
