Ensuring comprehensive management of financial indicators and economic efficiency of IT projects. The main tasks of the specialist are the implementation of transparent budgeting mechanisms, control of the targeted use of funds and increasing the accuracy of financial forecasting at all stages of the life cycle of the development of information and communication systems.
Main duties (Job Responsibilities)
- Assessment of assets: Calculation of the current cost (Total Cost of Ownership — TCO) of existing information systems, taking into account the costs of support and modernization.
- Forecasting and planning: Formation of preliminary estimates for new projects (Estimations) and budget adjustments of projects under development.
- Resource management: Monitoring of the labor market and planning of competitive rate cards (Salary Benchmarking) for future hiring.
- Budgeting: Short-term and long-term financial planning (for 6–12 months), control over deviations (Variance Analysis).
- Optimization: Analysis of project profitability and providing recommendations on cost optimization.
Requirements for the candidate (Requirements)
- Experience: From 3 years in financial management or project management in IT field.
- Understanding SDLC: Clear understanding of the software development cycle to adequately estimate time and human costs.
- Analytical skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivot tables) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of tools: Experience with Jira, Confluence (for tracking time and progress of projects).
- Economic base: Knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX principles, understanding of the pricing model (Fixed Price, Time & Material).
- Labor market: Understanding of compensation structure in IT (Middle/Senior/Lead levels, tax models).
Will be an advantage
- Experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst.
- International certifications (eg CIMA, ACCA or PMP).
