The role entails working closely on the specific investment mandates (both sell- and buy-sides) to help execute the final goals which may include investment evaluation, fundraising, due diligence, M&A deals, negotiating, monitoring, and divesting investments. The Investment Analyst will work closely with the Fund’s core team. Experience in investment banking, Big 4 consulting background, and/or fund or portfolio fundraising would be a big plus but not required.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:conduct market research and analysis of potential investment targets in the technology space;create financial models and perform valuation analysis of companies based on different methodologies (DCF, DDM, multiples);support on the preparation of investment memorandums and other materials such as investment memos, financial models, and due diligence documents;manage information in the CRM and meeting schedules to give founders a great experience with us;maintain relationships with founders to help ensure they are getting access to what they need;build market maps and research new markets and industry trends within the technology space.DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Finance/ Economics or similar;have a minimum of 1-year experience, preferably within an investment banking firm, Big 4, investment management firm (venture capital or private equity), strategy consulting firm, or corporate development role;have excellent quantitative skills and financial modeling skills, market sizing, and KPI analysis;fluency in business English with excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills;maintain high standards of work with strong attention to detail, effectively managing large volumes of information while working on multiple projects simultaneouslypassion for the technology industry and drive to execute well and on timehigh proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
