Internal Controller in TotalEnergies Marketing Ukraine

TotalEnergies Marketing Ukraine is a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, the one of the largest integrated energy companies in the world. The company offers a wide range of lubricants, including performance engine oils such as Quartz Lubricants and Classic Product Range, Rubia® Fuel Economy and Heavy Duty Lubricants, Industrial Lubricants for Metalworking, and the Food Industry (Nevastane).

Position: Internal Controller (12-month fixed-term contract with the option to switch to a permanent position based on performance)

Major Functions:

• Preparation, coordination, and follow-up for internal and external audits, acting as the key contact person and following up on recommendations
• Revision of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the company's requirements and existing workflows
• Commercial reporting as part of management reporting (investments, etc.)
• Ensuring the accuracy of all calculations of variable components (timely input of all conditions, verification, validation of variable payments)
• Follow-up and revision of priority accounting controls
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): financial analysis, profitability analysis, budgeting, and long-term planning
• Preparation of business reviews
• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for logistics and service levels
• Revision of financial statements
• Acting as a backup for the financial controller and SAP & IT coordinator
• Handling other tasks and projects assigned by management

Qualifications/Experience Required:

• University degree in Finance; professional qualifications are an advantage
• At least 4 years of full-time professional experience in Finance or Controlling departments of major multinational companies and/or BIG4 Audit firms in a multinational environment
• Leadership and management skills
• Computer literacy: Practical knowledge of SAP R3 (CO is an additional advantage), Office 365 (particularly Excel), and understanding of IT infrastructure is an added value
• Strong analytical skills
• Well-organized, initiative, team-oriented, and able to work independently under strict deadlines
• Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) is required; French is appreciated
