About the position

The consultant will work with the Ministry of Health, the Center for Public Health and other partners to strengthen analytical support for vaccination programs against COVID-19 and routine immunization.

The main task is to provide analytical and advisory support for improving vaccine management, monitoring residues at various levels of the health care system, as well as supporting the implementation of the updated vaccination calendar.

Main areas of work

  • conducting an analytical assessment of the situation with vaccines and residues at the national, regional and institutional levels;
  • preparing analytical notes, recommendations and brief overviews for making management decisions;
  • supporting the processes of planning needs for vaccines and monitoring their use;
  • participating in working meetings and technical discussions regarding immunization programs;
  • supporting the implementation of a new vaccination calendar;
  • preparing monthly reports on the analytical and coordination work carried out.

Requirements for candidates

  • Higher education (public health, medicine, epidemiology, health economics or other relevant field);
  • Understanding the principles of operation of immunization programs;
  • Experience in analytical or consulting work;
  • Ability to work with data and form practical recommendations;
  • Experience of interaction with government bodies or health care institutions will be an advantage;
  • A confident user of MS Office;
