The DRC has existed in Ukraine since 2014. At the moment, DRB has more than 800 employees working on the territory of Ukraine to implement emergency response in the sectors of social and legal protection, livelihoods, housing reconstruction and humanitarian disarmament and peacebuilding (humanitarian demining), providing direct support to responsible individuals and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), as well as their partners. Support partners in the implementation of HR tools and procedures.Monitor the implementation of the provided recommendations and inform the direct manager about progress or difficulties.Make business trips to partner organizations as needed to provide HR support, conduct assessments and consultations.Assessment of HR systems of partners and reporting
- Conduct primary and regular evaluation of partners' personnel management systems (availability of policies, procedures, HR documentation, organizational structure).
- Identify inconsistencies and potential risks in partners' personnel management processes.
- Prepare reports and practical recommendations based on the evaluation results.
- Monitor progress in implementing recommendations and update information on the status of changes.
Compliance and management risks
- Contribute to the compliance of partners' personnel management processes with the legislation of Ukraine and internal policies of the organization.
- Timely identify risks related to personnel management and inform the immediate supervisor.
- Provide basic recommendations on minimizing risks and support partners in their implementation.
Support of hiring processes personnel
- Advise partners on the organization of a transparent and fair hiring process, including the development of job descriptions, the formation of recruitment panels and the use of candidate assessment tools.
- Check the compliance of recruitment processes with the principles of equal opportunities, transparency and objectivity.
Training and development of partners
- Planinvent and conduct trainings for partners on personnel management issues.
- Participate in the development of training materials and methodical guides in cooperation with the personnel manager and/or Lead specialist.
- Collect feedback on trainings and support partners in the practical application of acquired knowledge.
About you:
To be successful in this position, we expect you to have minimum2 years in a HR, administrative, clerical or related role. Experience working with partner organizations, NGOs or in the humanitarian field is desirable. In addition, we also expect the following from you:
Required
- Higher education in the field of training "Personnel management and labor economics", "Law", "Documentation and information activities", "Accounting" or a related specialization.
- Knowledge of labor legislation, regulations in the field of employment and practices personnel management.
- Knowledge of languages: fluent Ukrainian, at least an average level of English.
- PC skills: confident use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Desirable
- Experience in organizing and conducting trainings, presentations and exercises.
