| Position Overview
The HR Manager serves as a versatile role, handling a broad spectrum of employee?related functions. This role partners with managers and staff to ensure effective talent acquisition, employee development, compliance, and day?to?day HR operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem?solver with strong interpersonal skills, a solid grasp of employment law, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?moving environment.
| Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
• Post job openings, screen resumes, and conduct initial phone screens.
• Coordinate interview schedules, communicate with candidates, and manage the offer process.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria.
Onboarding & Off?boarding
• Facilitate new?hire orientation, paperwork, and benefits enrollment.
• Ensure smooth transitions for departing employees, including exit interviews and final settlements.
Compensation & Benefits
• Assist with payroll processing, time?off administration, and benefits enrollment.
• Answer employee questions regarding compensation structures and benefit plans.
Employee Relations
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
• Mediate conflicts, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
Performance Management
• Support managers in setting goals, conducting reviews, and delivering feedback.
• Track performance cycles and maintain related documentation.
Compliance & Policy Administration
• Keep HR policies up?to?date and ensure consistent application across the organization.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations (e.g., FMLA, EEOC, OSHA).
• Prepare and submit required reports and filings.
Learning & Development
• Coordinate training sessions, webinars, and professional?development programs.
• Track completion rates and evaluate program effectiveness.
HR Data & Reporting
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Generate HR metrics and dashboards (turnover, headcount, diversity, etc.) for leadership review.
| Qualifications
Experience
2–4 years of HR generalist or HR coordinator experience, preferably in a midsize or larger organization.
Knowledge
• Familiarity with employment law, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
• Understanding of recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and HR software (e.g., Deel, Workday, BambooHR, ADP).
