Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) is a leading educational and research center that combines academic excellence with practical solutions for society and business. The structure of KSE includes five key business units: KSE University, which offers international bachelor's and master's programs; KSE Institute — an analytical center for economic, political and business research; KSE Foundation, which implements humanitarian and educational projects; KSE Graduate Business School, which provides MBA programs and corporate training; and KSE ProfTech, which offers vocational training.

Gen.Ukrainian is an independent Ukrainian public organization that, since 2022, has been working on restoring the childhood of children and adolescents affected by the war. The organization implements programs of psychosocial support and rehabilitation, research initiatives and develops Gen.Hope - Center of leading expertise in the field of mental health of children and adolescents in war and crisis contexts. Gen.Hope is implemented with the institutional support of KSE.

Gen.Hope scales the research and educational component and forms a systemic academic presence in Ukraine and the international environment. In this regard, the organization is looking for a Gen.Hope Scientific Head, who will lead the development of the scientific strategy, ensure program evidence and the integration of research results into educational and practical formats. This is a strategic level role combining academic vision and operational coordination.

Your responsibilities will

• Strategy and management:
  • Formation and implementation of the medium-term scientific strategy of Gen Hope.
  • Coordination of research and educational initiatives within the Center's programs.
  • Synchronization of scientific priorities with programmatic and advocacy activities.
• Research and analytics:
  • Initiation, support and coordination of applied and academic research.
  • Organization of preparation of analytical products (white papers, policy briefs, research reports).
  • Methodological support of teams, participation in the preparation of scientific publications.
  • Ensuring ethical standards, evidence and high quality research.
• Educational and academic areas:
  • Development and development of elective and certificate courses (online/offline).
  • Coordination of integration of courses into the curricula of partner institutions of higher education.
  • Integration of research results into educational and practical programs Gen Hope.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Education in psychology, social sciences, public health or related fields
• Understanding of academic processes (research, syllabus, ECTS, publications)
• Experience in preparing presentations, facilitating meetings and professional communication
• English language - level sufficient for international collaboration
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams
• Value motivation to work with the topic of children, war and restoration of Ukraine

It will be an advantage:

• Experience in international research or educational projects
• Participation in the preparation of grant applications or donor reports
• Experience in public speaking and participation in conferences
