The role of a manager with occupational safety and fire safety

The occupational safety and fire safety manager is a manager responsible for the organization and control of all processes related to ensuring safety at the enterprise. He manages the development and implementation of occupational health and fire safety standards, monitors their compliance, and monitors the work of workers responsible for safety in the field. The main goal is to create and maintain a security system that effectively prevents risks and provides maximum protection for employees and the company's infrastructure.

Subordinated to: 10 employees

< strong>Main responsibilities:

1. Organization of the security system:
   • Development of policies, standards and regulations on labor protection and fire safety for all company facilities (stores, distribution centers).
   • Organization and control of training and briefings for all levels of personnel.
   • Building a system of permanent risk monitoring and control over the implementation of labor protection and fire safety norms. compliance with legal requirements and internal standards in the field of security at all levels of the company.
   • Conducting regular audits and inspections of stores and distribution centers, monitoring the implementation of security measures.
   • Cooperation with state bodies and services to check compliance of facilities with fire safety and occupational health regulations.
2. Management of incident investigation processes:
   • Organization of the process of collection and analysis of information regarding accidents or emergency situations at the company's facilities.
   • Lead the development and implementation of corrective measures to minimize risks in the future.
   • Responsibility for maintaining all necessary documentation related to with occupational health and safety, including reports and action plans.

Requirements for the candidate:< /p>

1. Education

• Higher technical education (engineering specialty) or higher education in occupational health and safety.
• Specialized courses or certification in health and safety labor and fire safety.

2. Work experience

• From 2 to 5 years of work experience in a similar position, depending on the level of the position (specialist, manager, department head).
• Experience in implementing occupational health and fire safety management systems at enterprises.

3. Knowledge of legislation

• In-depth knowledge of national laws and regulations in the field of occupational safety, safety, fire safety and ecology.
• Knowledge of international standards (e.g. , ISO 45001) is an advantage.

4. Skills

• Risk Analysis: Proficientability to assess potential risks for the health and safety of employees.
• Development and implementation of programs: Ability to develop occupational health and fire safety programs, conduct briefings and training.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees at various levels, including management and staff.
• Documentation: Maintain necessary occupational health and safety documentation and fire safety, preparation of reports, instructions, procedures.
• Audit: Skills of conducting internal audits and inspections of compliance with occupational safety and fire safety requirements.
