Head of sewing production in UDI GROUP

UDI GROUP is an association of Ukrainian companies in the defense and security sector under the general management of the investment fund Ukrainian Defense Innovations (UDI). The companies of the group are licensed manufacturers and suppliers of the Ministry of Defense and other power structures of the country. Some of the enterprises were created in 2014.

The organizational structure of UDI GROUPincludes a management group and production companies.

More about the team: In a company manufacturing personal protective equipment, we are looking for a person who will lead the management of a military clothing factory.

Main duties:

1. Work shop organization:

• distribution of work between seamstresses;
• formation of changes;
• loading control.

2. Personnel management:

• discipline control;
• adaptation of new seamstresses;
• conflict resolution;
• staff training.

3. Control of the technological process:

• obtaining sewing technology from the development department;
• quality control of sewn products;
• control of production stages.

4. Administrative responsibility:

• production accounting;
• preparation of production reports;
• communication with the development, supply and warehouse department.

5. Responsibility for the equipment and order at the location:

• control over the condition of the equipment;
• organization of workplaces;
• cooperation with the occupational safety engineer on compliance with safety techniques.

It is important for us:

• Experience in the sewing industry from 3 years.
• Experience in a managerial position (headworkshop/production) from the 1st year.
• High level of responsibility, analytical abilities, attention to details, stress resistance.
• Proactivity, desire to improve existing processes.

We offer:

• Salary in the range of UAH 50,000 - 83,000. (fixed rate + bonuses for meeting KPIs).

Cooperation format:

• Schedule work from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
