The project known as JERU (Joint Emergency Response in Ukraine — Joint response to emergency situations in Ukraine) works in Ukraine to support people affected by the conflict.

Responsibilities:

• To bear overall responsibility for project implementation in coordination with local partners and in accordance with the work plan and budget. 
• To bear overall responsibility for the coordination of the work of the consortium, providing regular information to the program manager. 
• To bear overall responsibility for compliance with the deadlines for submission of reports to donors, both descriptive and financial. 
• Ensure that all project data is uploaded to PROMIS and updated as necessary. 
• Coordinate actions with the deputy head of projects and programs regarding coordination meetings with WHH project implementing partners. 
• Coordinate work with the Deputy Head of Projects and Programs to ensure effective communication with implementing partners. Givesupport to partners for timely implementation of project activities. 
• In coordination with the life support coordinator, constantly determine the needs and possibilities of economic recovery at the project implementation sites. Propose and implement measures to meet these needs and to integrate with emergency programs. 
• Manage and recruit the project team, including project and program specialists, business consultants, trainers and other service providers as needed. 
• Perform financial management of projects, regularly preparing financial forecasts and comparing budgets with actual indicators. 
• Ensure the availability of a procurement plan for the project and its implementation in coordination with the logistics department. 
• Cooperate with the team for working with partners on the operation of partnership agreements and directions for developing the potential of partners. 
• Collect results data and collaborate with the MEAL team to analyze key information related to project results and quality. 
• Contribute to positioning WHH as a key player in economic recovery and livelihoods by participating in  coordinating platforms in coordination with the Livelihoods Coordinator. 
• Meet regularly with local stakeholders including economic development authorities, municipalities, business associations and others to ensure they are informed of WHH's economic recovery activities. 
• Actively assist the Program Manager and Country Technical Advisors with the development of new proposals and strategies for the country as needed. 
• Collaborate with technical advisors to ensure documentation and sharing of best practices, lessons learned and challenges. 
• Ensure the updating of protection issues in the process of project implementation. 

Requirements:

• Prior experience in managing a consortium within an NGO. 
• Prior experience with economic recovery and life support programs. 
• It is desirable to have an understanding of the current situation in Ukraine. 
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• The level of command of the English language in oral and written form is fluent.
